Hydrolysis Oxidation
The functional principle is based on the combination of copper (CU++) as a flocculant and bactericide together with a hydrolysis system, which enables holistic water treatment without chemical additives by splitting the water molecules into oxidant disinfectors such as oxygen, ozone and peroxide.
Hydrolysis
Water (H² O) consists of two parts hydrogen (H²) and one part oxygen (O). Hydrolysis means that the water molecule is broken down. When the electric current flows through the water, the chemical bond between H and O is broken. The negative oxygen concentration (or ions) go to the positive electrodes (anodes). Other chemical reactions also take place during hydrolysis, which produce additional specific ions that also oxidize and thus provide additional disinfection
Copper ionization
The combined use of copper ionization greatly increases the efficiency of hydrolysis. The antibacterial and algaecidal power of the copper system forms a strong unit with the high oxidation rate of the hydrolysis system and ensures perfect water treatment, free of chemical additives. This system is also effective against Legionnaires' bacteria.
PE Schacht
The Plug & Swim is installed in a solid PE shaft. This is rainwater-tight and walkable. This Plug & Swim variant is therefore ideal for direct installation into the ground. The PE shaft also has a built-in fan so that constant air circulation can take place. Thanks to the ventilation tubes, fresh air can be drawn in and the accumulated heat can escape.
Plug & Swim is not suitable for filtration in fish ponds.
