Shipments and returns

Shipping Fees

  1. The amount of shipping fees depends on the chosen delivery method, the destination, the type of product, and the weight of the order.

  2. Shipping fees are waived except for the following items: aquariums valued at less than CHF 1,000, packages longer than 100cm, and heavy packages exceeding 30 kg.

  3. The Seller reserves the right to impose a specific delivery method for certain fragile or oversized merchandise.

  4. For orders placed on the Swiss Aqua Shop platform, the amount of shipping fees is provided to the Buyer in the order summary ('cart') before finalizing the order.

  5. For orders placed directly at the Seller's premises, the shipping fees are communicated to the Buyer by the Seller.

  6. In the case of delivery outside of Switzerland or Liechtenstein, the Buyer is responsible, in addition to the shipping fees indicated during the order, for customs clearance fees and any applicable taxes in the destination country.

Delivery Time

  1. For orders placed on the Swiss Aqua Shop platform, the delivery time for the entire order is indicated in the order summary ('cart') and in the order confirmation email sent to the Buyer.

  2. For orders placed directly at the Seller's premises, delivery times are communicated to the Buyer by the Seller and in the order confirmation provided to the Buyer.

  3. The delivery times provided to the Buyer are for informational purposes. The Buyer is obligated to accept any merchandise delivery, even if it occurs after the indicated time. Non-compliance with a delivery deadline does not entitle the Buyer to any claims against the Seller.

Delivery

  1. When an order is placed on the Swiss Aqua Shop platform and the order is ready for delivery, an email is sent to the Buyer to inform them that their order is in the process of being delivered.

  2. Each delivery is accompanied by a delivery note.

  3. Deliveries are made with a proof of receipt, either by Swiss Post or by a shipping service authorized by the Seller. The Buyer can also pick up the ordered merchandise directly from the Seller's premises.

  4. If the Buyer does not take possession of the merchandise sent by Swiss Post within the 7-day retention period, the merchandise will be returned to the Seller, who will retain it. The purchase price already paid will be refunded to the Buyer, minus the return shipping costs.

  5. When the merchandise is delivered by a shipping service authorized by the Seller, the Buyer and the shipping service will agree on a delivery date. If the Buyer does not receive the merchandise on the agreed date, the merchandise will be returned to the Seller, who will retain it. The purchase price already paid will be refunded to the Buyer, minus the return shipping costs.

  6. Aquariums are delivered by a carrier service. The delivery is made at the ground level of your residence on a pallet. The carrier will not, under any circumstances, deliver inside your home.
