Alg-Stop is an advanced treatment designed to keep ponds free of filamentous algae all year round. Unlike other products, Alg-Stop does not extract nutrients from the water but renders them unavailable to algae. It works by penetrating the algae and dissolving their calcareous structure, causing them to disintegrate and be efficiently captured by the filter.

This product dissolves quickly, ensuring rapid absorption by the algae. Once applied, it eliminates the need to measure phosphate levels. Alg-Stop is free from ammonia compounds and metal salts, making it safe for fish and other aquatic life.

Usage & Dosage:

• Initial Phase (first month): Apply 100 g of Alg-Stop per 3,000 liters of pond water every 10 days.
• Maintenance Phase (after the first month): Apply at least once a month, using 100 g per 3,000 liters of pond water.
• Distribute the product evenly across the pond surface.
• Regularly remove dead algae and clean the pond filter.

Precautions:

• Do not use Alg-Stop in combination with other anti-algae products or substances that remove nutrients from the water (e.g., activated carbon, zeolites, nitrate resin, ozone, etc.).
• Check water parameters before application:
  • GH: preferably 12, minimum 6
  • KH: preferably 8, minimum 4
• Reapply after heavy rainfall or water changes.
• In case of severe algae infestation or shallow water areas, apply a double dose.
• Alg-Stop is also suitable for swimming ponds.
• To keep the pond algae-free, it is recommended to apply Alg-Stop at least once a month.

Annual Dosage Example:

• 1,000 liters of pond water: 0.4 kg per year (0.5 kg with initial dose)
• 5,000 liters of pond water: 2.1 kg per year (2.6 kg with initial dose)
• 10,000 liters of pond water: 4.2 kg per year (5.2 kg with initial dose)
• 25,000 liters of pond water: 10.8 kg per year (13 kg with initial dose)
